Therefore, our website, www.zoin.gr, has been designed with appropriate systems to comply with applicable legislation regarding data protection, especially with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 679/2016 for the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data.

Z O I N - Space Interiors is committed to protecting and respecting your personal data each time you use our website and informing you of all necessary details in accordance with Articles 12, 13, and 14 of the new GDPR, which applies from May 25, 2018, at the European level.

Simple Personal data are any information that relates to you or can be attributed to you. Such data include, for example, your name, surname, father's name, address, telephone number, as well as email. Additionally, personal data also include certain technical data concerning you, such as your IP address or the websites from which you accessed our site, etc. Furthermore, Special Categories of Personal Data (sensitive data) include indicative information regarding your health status, your sexual life, as well as your religious or political beliefs.

Before we collect and process such data, we always ensure that you have given us your explicit and clear consent, unless the processing is based on our legal obligations. In any case, processing will be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulation.

Specifically, Z O I N - Space Interiors collects and processes personal data as follows:

2.1 Browsing the Website – Cookies

2.1.1 For your navigation on our Website, your registration is not initially required, hence your direct provision to us of your personal data or other information concerning you is not required. However, Z O I N - Space Interiors, during your navigation on www.zoin.gr and your transactions with us through our services, collects personal data and other information about you through our own Cookies (First Party Cookies) or third parties with whom we cooperate (Third Party Cookies).

Cookies are small text files that are temporarily installed on your computer or electronic device and transmitted to our server when you visit our website, through the browser you are using. No cookie collects information or obtains knowledge of any document or file from your computer.

Although GA records data such as your geographic location, your device, internet browser, and operating system, none of this information makes you personally identifiable to us. GA also records your computer's IP address, which could be used to identify you, but Google does not grant us access to this information.

2.2. Registration on the Website

For the provision of our services, it is necessary for you to register on our website and to directly grant us your personal data or other information concerning you. Access to your personal account will be done by filling in a username and password. Specifically, the information you will be required to enter is as follows: name, surname, email address, mobile phone number, and in case invoicing is desired, the VAT number of the company, the competent tax office, and the capacity.

In case you register for our service through a social networking platform, we may collect the above personal data directly from the information you have provided on the platform (provided that the social networking platform has the relevant right to share your personal data with us).

2.3. Measurement of the room to be decorated and completion of a special questionnaire.

Additionally, for the purposes of interior decoration of the rooms to be decorated, you will be asked to send us detailed measurements of the dimensions of the room to be decorated, including the dimensions of any doors, windows, balcony doors, etc. You will also need to complete a special questionnaire in order to make the dimensions, elements, and installations of the space perceptible, your aesthetic preferences, any functional requirements, and the way the space is used. Therefore, you will be asked to specify your budget, your color and general aesthetic preferences, functional requirements (such as whether the space is suitable for people with disabilities, pets, children, presence of humidity, lack of soundproofing, etc.), how many people will use the space, architectural and structural elements of the space (e.g., air conditioning positions, heating bodies, door, antennas, power supplies, water and drainage facilities, piping, etc.), the type of room to be decorated, the ages that the room will serve, the gender of the people who will use the room (especially if it concerns children), and your general aesthetic preferences for each room according to its intended use.

2.4. Subscription for the Newsletter Service

We will not send you any Newsletter for advertising or promoting our products and services unless you choose to subscribe to our Newsletter service. If you subscribe, Z O I N - Space Interiors will collect the address to which you wish to receive the advertising material (e.g., your email address and/or your mobile phone number or your Facebook, Instagram username) and will send you informative - advertising material regarding any offers and new trends in the field of interior decoration.

In case you do not wish to receive our Newsletters and generally advertising material, you can request your removal from the recipients' list at any time, either according to the instructions provided in the electronic Newsletters or by sending the relevant request to the address info@zoin.gr.

2.5. Data of our Employees and Partners

Z O I N - Space Interiors collects personal information from candidates seeking employment, including private contact information, professional qualifications, and previous work experience, in order to be able to make hiring decisions, having all the necessary information. After the hiring of our employees, we collect information about them in the context of our contractual relationship and for purposes related to it, such as evaluating their performance, executing their payroll, or for tax purposes. This information is collected and stored in a secure corporate database, accessible only by authorized personnel. Additionally, we may process similar information regarding freelancers, consultants, and other third parties who collaborate with Z O I N - Space Interiors to provide products or services to us.

3. What is the Legal Basis for Processing Your Data?

As it appears from what we have already described, we never process your data without this processing being necessary and based either 1) on the purpose of providing the services of our company, namely in the interior decoration and design of your spaces, according to your personal preferences, or 2) on our legitimate interests to maintain our relationship with you as our customers, or 3) on your consent, mainly for advertising purposes regarding the results of the interior decoration of your spaces, but also for receiving communications from us regarding the provision of our services, which you have already requested from us (e.g., appointment confirmation)..

Z O I N - Space Interiors will never receive from you more personal data than necessary for each purpose for which it collects them, nor will it disclose your data to third parties, unless absolutely necessary for the execution by us of a service requested by you and related to our contract, or if the processing by a third party is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests (e.g., conducting a credit check), or if you have previously given your consent, or when the law requires it (e.g., for the execution of a judicial decision, a prosecutorial order, etc.).

Furthermore, Z O I N - Space Interiors does not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties, except for the application of relevant legal requirements, and it does not collect or generally process personal data of minors without the explicit written consent of their parents.

4. For how long do we retain your data?

We do not retain your data for longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected or as required by applicable laws.

Additionally, we will keep the resumes we receive, without ultimately proceeding with the hiring of the applicant, for a period of twelve (12) months.

  • To Google and Facebook, as already mentioned above, especially for the use of Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel services. Both these entities are based in the USA and comply with the relevant intergovernmental agreement, known as the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield.

  • To external consultants (such as lawyers, accountants).
  • To any cooperating companies.
  • To advertising companies and generally to providers of advertising services.
  • To service providers for hosting our customer database and overall technical support and management of our systems.
  • To data security service providers.


6. What measures do we take for the security of your data?

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting your personal data. We continuously implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to prevent accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access to your personal data collected, stored, or otherwise processed by us.

Therefore, we have implemented procedures and security measures in physical and electronic files, which we regularly review. Additionally, we will destroy or eliminate your personal data when we no longer need it for the provision of our services or as otherwise required by law.

More specifically:

General Control Procedures: Regular and systematic controls are applied to workplaces, such as automatic computer locking, frequent hardware and software upgrades and configurations, to minimize the likelihood of unauthorized access and exploitation of critical data stored in our files. Our equipment is connected to an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) system to ensure continuous operation in case of system failure, while in case of prolonged power outage, our servers are safely shut down.

Physical File Storage: Z O I N - Space Interiors may keep files in physical, paper form, containing your personal data (such as questionnaire responses regarding your personal preferences and aesthetics, details and measurements of space for decoration, invoices, etc.). We keep these files in secured areas protected by security locks, accessible only by our employees or associates who need access for purposes within their duties. For the destruction of physical files, we use a document shredder to prevent unauthorized access to them.

Some of your personal data will be stored in the database of the website we maintain. We have implemented graded access to files containing personal data on our network, which is protected by a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Based on this graded access, special passwords are required, provided only to those employees or associates who need access to these files. Our network is additionally protected by antivirus software and a firewall, which separates the local network and prevents unauthorized access. Finally, we ensure the security of your data by creating continuous backups of our system files.

File Transfer: All internet transfer (file transfer) between this website and your browsing program (browser) is encrypted and transferred via the SSL 128-bit protocol. Encryption essentially encodes the information until it reaches its intended recipient, who can decode it using the appropriate key.

Email:Data sent to us via email is protected using the SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) protocol. Our SMTP servers are protected by the TLS (Transport Layer Security) security protocol (sometimes also known as SSL), which means that email is encrypted using 256-bit SHA-2 encryption before being sent over the Internet. The content of the email is decrypted by local computers and devices.

7. What rights do you have regarding your data?

We are committed to providing you with the ability to exercise all your rights under the GDPR regarding your data that we keep and process, such as the right of access and rectification, withdrawal of your consent, erasure or restriction of the processing of your data, restriction or cessation of marketing, and provision of a copy of your data that we keep in digital format (e.g., PDF) to you or to another service provider you may designate. Additionally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant authority.

Specifically, upon your request, indicatively, we will:

  • Correct personal information when inaccurate.
